1981 Honda CBX 1000 Super Sport. SC06 Pro-Link model, mostly complete. So far it’s missing the drive chain guard and turn signals. Odometer reads 82,917 miles. Carbs are stiff, but not seized up, still have full travel.
Been stored indoors for the last 18 years. True barn find. We changed the oil, oil filter and air filter before attempting to start it.
ENGINE RUNS ON STARTING FLUID.
Swapped on a pair of good used front forks since the old ones were bent. Does have a SuperTrapp exhaust on it. Be a great parts bike or project for someone.
Gas tank has light surface rust on inside, looks like JB-weld repair on the left side by side cover, and a small leak started on the right side by the side cover. Small dents on tank, nothing major.
Left side cover is cracked on bottom where JB-weld repair is at. Right side cover is broken/cracked on the bottom side.
Front tire doesn’t hold air, rear tire is good and has lots of life left in it. Seat is in good condition.
Does have a key.
